About the Host
Along with hosting the Psychology in 10 Minutes podcast, David B. Feldman, PhD, is the co-host of About Health on KPFA Radio (94.1FM) in the San Francisco Bay Area and a professor of counseling psychology at Santa Clara University. One of the nation’s foremost experts on hope, his research and writings address topics including hope, meaning, and growth in the face of highly stressful circumstances. Feldman has published four books, including the recent Science and Application of Positive Psychology and Supersurvivors: The Surprising Link Between Suffering & Success. His work has been featured in numerous scientific journals as well as in media outlets including SELF, 'O': The Oprah Magazine, Time, Harvard Business Review, MSNBC, NPR, CBC, and OWN: the Oprah Winfrey Network.
